I was born in Hamilton and went to Waikato Teacher's College. I have been
teaching for approximately 18 years and have worked at Pio Pio Primary in the King Country, Quarry Hills - Southland and Tolkanui.
The good things about Tokanui School are the great children and teachers. It is a lovely environment
to teach in. I release the Reading Recovery Teacher, teach a small group of Y4 pupils and teach Art in the Y7-8 class.
I decided to be a teacher because there is lots of variety and challenges in teaching.
I enjoy working with students and love seeing progress. If I wasn't a teacher I would be more involved in adult arts
programmes. My favourite pastimes are reading and travel, recently I've been doing a lot of walking.
