Selected for Southland B NPC Netball Team

How did you do this?

I went along to the netball trials at stadium southland, after playing a season for Rata Netball where I found out about the trials. There were three trials.

What does it involve?

Mon: Gym Training

Tues: sprint Training with Steve Jackson and Southland A’s

Wed: Sprint training at Surrey Park

Thurs: 2 hour practice at stadium southland

Sat: Gym Training

Weekend tournament in Dunedin and nationals in Palmerston north for 1 week

Was it fun?

Most definitely

What was the highlight of your achievement?

I got a trophy for most improved.

Meeting wonderful netballers.

Getting motivated to get fit again!

Competed in it well as a team

Farming jobs and general knowledge questions

What was the highlight of your achievement?

Winning the freebie and $400
 
Emma McDonald left the team and Sarah Rule replaced her. They competed and won at the 2004 74th Royal N.Z Show Southland A&P Association.

Winning the Southern Golf tournament.

How did you do this?   

By being the best golfers

What does it involve?

Playing an 8 hole round of golf and another round with skills like chipping and putting to take off points on your total score.

Yes

Beating the other two Tokanui teams
